365: Week 1

A blog post! Wow!! It has been a long time! One of my New Year's resolutions is to try to keep up with this blog. My plan is to take a picture a day and blog about them once a week. There is no way I will be able to blog every day:) So here is Week 1!

January 1:


My wonderful family. The kids and I were able to spend 10 days in Ohio this Christmas/New Years and had SO much fun!


January 2:


Kailyn is ready for the Ohio State game. Touchdown!

January 3:


How we spend 2-3 hours of our day. Isaac is a slow eater:) (Sorry about the picture quality, I need to check our settings.)


January 4:


A small taste of the amount of static electricity in our house.


January 5:


I debated on whether or not to put this picture on here, due to making people uncomfortable or for people feeling sorry for us. But the truth is, this is real life and this is what is happening in our life. Above is a 9 week picture of our baby, the last picture that we will see of her (and yes, I think it was a she). Unlike our first ultrasound picture, in this one, our baby's heart had stopped beating. Today was a very hard and sad day in our household and will be for a long time. But I wanted to share this picture, as this baby is very real to me and I want our friends and family to be able to have seen her. We have been very blessed by lots of love and support this past weekend and are very grateful for the people around us. Thank you.


January 6:

I do not have a picture from today but if I did, it would be of the kids grinning from ear to ear as they enjoy a gorgeous day at the park with their cousin, Paxton.


January 7:


Isaac is not too sure about his new haircut....he feels he has been butchered.

January 8:


My sister and sister-in-law came in for support this weekend and there couldn't have been two more excited kiddos! They love their "Tolie" and "Robbie".
