365: Week 31

Monday, August 6th:

Today we had the pleasure of having the youngest Maynard in our house for the morning. She taught the kids some new tricks....the favorite of which was piling all of our pillows on the floor and jumping off the couch. This has become the "thing" to do around our house all week. This is kind of nostalgic to me, as I have watched her brothers do this countless times when they used to be our neighbors:) It is fitting that they teach it to our kids. We sure miss them!

Tuesday, August 7th:

 Diapering of the baby dolls

More moving of the pillows

Wednesday, August 8th:

Wednesday has officially become "Homemade Pizza" night (we are still working on a catchy name). Tonight we tried a white pizza, with chicken, alfredo sauce, cheese, spinach, basil, onions and garlic. Yummy!! (the dark part is the kids normal pizza sauce and cheese:)

Thursday, August 9th:

Happy 9th Anniversary to us!

Fun little remote-control robot Josh brought home from the kids (hand-me-down from one of his patients).

Friday, August 10th:

Crazy outfit K picked out this morning. She definitely has an opinion about her clothes.....and mine!

Saturday, August 11th:

I have been photographing some of the kids' bible class crafts....before throwing them away. That is probably horrible but I really don't have room to keep all of them and they pretty much forget about them once we are home. So I have been taking pictures. K is pretty proud of her 10 Commandments poster.

I-man just wanted to get back to "blowing" the grass aka rug after mowing it with his Buzz Lightyear car aka push mower.

Sunday, August 12th:

Josh and the kids went out to swim for a bit this afternoon. It was a little chilly due to all the rain we have had lately. I-man cracks me up b/c he is so like me around water, bless his heart. He spent most of the time on the deck, supervising.

Josh was able to coax him in a few times with a few throws:)
