Hello Everyone! Well we made it home, finally, nothing happens quickly in the hospital. . .unless you're losing blood and they don't know why which we found out Monday. :) The babies. . . which I was told I haven't announced the names on the blog. . . Kailyn Shaffer and Isaac Samuel. . . are doing wonderful. They seem to be eating well and sleeping well (although not totally, which I'll explain more in a minute). It is fun to have them in cute clothes and hold them in comfortable chairs. Last night I was on late duty and they decided to play a prank on Dad. One would finally fall asleep and LITERALLY within 5 seconds the other would start fussing. I finally rigged up a system where I had one in the boppy with my hand on them and the other resting on my legs. I have people tell me they don't know how they would handle two and frankly I'm not sure we are going to do it. But. . . as I was up with them from 12 to 4 last night, I realized how happy I am to be a Dad and that I would gladly stay up to 4 with them. . . once a year. :) More info coming if they do something beside eat sleep and dirty diapers. One other note, Rachel looks fantastic! How could someone do what she does and look great! What a woman!
