365: Week 9

Monday, March 5th:

K and I frequently "help" me unload the dishwasher. They are actually pretty good at it. I-man will put away the pots, cutting boards and set bowls up on the counter for me. And they spend a good amount of time playing with their eat-ware afterwards:):) Probably not the cleaniest thing in the world, but hey, they are their own dishes!

Tuesday, March 6th:

We now have three sleeping buddies: Puppy, Blanket, and our newest addition, Bear.

Wednesday, March 7th:

I. requested to be covered with a blanket and wanted to lay on the couch.....someone was not letting him get much rest and relaxation:)

Thursday, March 8th:

New "hiding" spot: our bedroom door as one barrier and the shopping cart as another, with a pile of toys in between the two.

Friday, March 9th: (Josh and I's 11th dating anniversary)

We met Aunt D and "Paaah" at the Mcwane Center this morning. The kids had a lot of fun exploring....it had been awhile since we had been there. I forgot my camera but Andrea graciously sent me some, in order to continue our picture-a-day!

Saturday, March 10th:

Saturday was beautiful! We spent a lot of our day outside. It marked the beginning of the mowing season. Josh had a pretty good audience cheering him on.......I see many more Saturdays like this one.

Sunday, March 11th:

Upon arriving home, right before midnight, from our weekend trip to Ohio, we discovered that I had left the freezer door open a crack. This caused the entire thing to shut off after several days, so we lost all of our food AND had excess water on the floor. Josh's project today was to replace the rotten, warped door frame from the kitchen to the laundry room. He had a little helper/shadow who was not too happy about the 30 minute barrier shown above:)
