Thank you Pinterest.
Used a template of a banner my sister-in-law made for their 1st birthday party.
Pinterest again with a few modifications
We started them off eating inside.....but that was not too popular.
Much better outside with everyone else!
Josh grilled out hot dogs and hamburgers that were delicious. All my dinner pictures are of the party-goers, with mouths full of food, so I will refrain from posting:) The kids had a lot of fun playing outside and the adults enjoyed watching.
Next we went inside for cake and cupcakes. We sang to each child individually. We had been practicing singing so the kids knew what was coming. K was first and was pretty shy, I-man however was ready to go! I think he even clapped when we started singing:) Blew out his own candles too!
As excited as they were about the cupcakes, they were a little shy about stuffing their faces in front of 40 people...they waited til a little later....
What other 2 year olds ask to eat cupcakes with a fork?? Crazy kids:)
On to the present opening.....no shyness here:)
We attempted a few shots of the three cousins after the present opening.....the family pictures turned out much better:)
This one cracks me up! Two of them doing the "touchdown" sign and K sipping her drink, enjoying the show!
It's obvious those kiddos are LOVED and HAPPY!!
