Gramma came to town! Mom came down Monday morning and stayed through Wednesday around lunchtime, just a fun visit while she is on summer break. We all had such a great time with "Mama Taleen":) Thanks so much for coming Mom!
I-man could not take his eyes off the tractor that was "mowing the fields."
Tuesday, June 19th:
We took a trip to the zoo this morning. The kids really got into the animals this time.
Picnic lunch outside the park.
Checking out the hippo crate
It is really getting hot here so we decided to splash in the pool after naps.
After the work was done, of course:)
Wednesday, June 20th:
Getting ready to go to the park. This is our "sunscreen chair."
Lots of mower-watching
Thursday, June 21st:
"Gramma come back!"
Actually this is the face I have been seeing for 30+ minutes after lunch lately.....being 2 years old is hard:)
Friday, June 22nd:
This picture sequence is a poor representative of the event I was trying to capture. I-man's new thing (whether he is playing baseball or golf) is to hit the ball, usually on the ground, yell "Woo hoo!" and take off running a lap around the house. When he gets back to his starting place, he falls down (slides like a baseball player) and says, "Wow, a lot of smoke that time." His interpretation of a player sliding into home plate, creating a dust cloud. This cracks me up, especially when K is standing on the sidelines cheering him on, giving him high-5s:)
Saturday, June 23rd:
Josh took the kids to Auburn this weekend while I stayed home to deep-clean the house. Not exactly a fun-kid-free weekend but something that DEFINITELY needed to be done and was much easier with just me in the house. Josh had the camera (and didn't take pictures today:) so I'll show one of my new healthy snacks that I sipped on today......a green smoothie. Surprisingly tasty.
Sunday, June 24th:
We love Papa Tom and Mama Linda! Thank you for a fun weekend!
