Gender Neutral Nursery -- for now

I really need to catch up on blog posts from May on.....but have decided to combine old and new posts until I can get my blog act together, if that happens at all:) Today's post is of the nursery, as is, until we know if we are having a boy or a girl. This view is from the doorway. The full bed was previously in our guest room but now fits nicely in the nursery. I am planning on adding a lamp with a yellow base to the book shelf. It is hard to tell here, but the walls are a gray. Pillows will be added to the bed as well (hot pink if a girl and crimson red if a boy).

Close-up of the pillows I made from leftover fabric from the crib bedding.

Borrowed crib (as K and I are using their cribs as toddler beds). I made the bedding.....so don't look too close!

Close-up of the fabric as it is hard to tell exactly what color it is.

New gray curtains. The rocker has been spray-painted white and we are waiting on gender to determine what fabric to cover it with.

View from the crib. Josh and friends painted the walls and all of the trim white, plus installed new blinds.

Recovered the fabric on the baskets and bought a new changing pad cover. I am going to add either pink or red ribbon to the upper baskets later, I think.

Small art project made from leftovers and a shoe box lid:) Wall decor will also come with gender.....just not worrying about it right now.

Both sides of the closet. One bin of clothes is for boy, one for girl. I have labeled the storage baskets with what items I want where, so hopefully my mom will have time to launder one and have put away by the time we come home from the hospital:) Then the closet will be stocked!

I think we are officially done for now in the nursery and as Baby Steed allows, we will move on to other projects until D Day!
